How 3D Printer Stainless Steel S316L Powder Produced?
Type 316 stainless steel is austenitic chromium/nickel stainless steel with 2% to 3.3% molybdenum. High-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, pitting resistance in chloride solutions and strength are all enhanced by the molybdenum.
By melting the steel or using laser sintering, stainless steel 3D printing can be produced. This material can be produced using either DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) or SLM (Standard Low-Molecular Weight).
