An anionic surfactant is made from crude oil fractions that have been subject to sulfonation neutralization and concentration. Its lipophilic structure includes linear alkyl benzene, branched alkyl benzene, and alkyl cycloalkyl benzene. It is able to lower oil-water interactions up to extremely low levels and it has excellent interfacial activities with naphthenic. This product can be used with oil production blocks that have formation salinities between 500 to 3000 mg/L. It’s highly resistant against calcium and magnesium. It is highly resistant to calcium and magnesium, has good wetting properties, low crude oil embrittlement and good wetting back ability. You can improve your block’s recovery by adding more water. The oil content of a block can also be decreased to around 85%, from 98%. This permits for high oil enrichment and precipitation.
